IDAHO FALLS – Brent Weitfle, 67 of Idaho Falls died Monday, February 1, 2010, at his home in Idaho Falls of natural causes. He was born on March 23, 1942, at Idaho Falls, the son of William and Clara Jensen Weitfle. He attended schools in Idaho Falls graduating from Idaho Falls High School in 1960. Brent was active in scouting as a young man earning the rank of Eagle Scout. He worked for thirty-three years as a costumer service representative for Western and Delta Airlines.
Brent loved all kinds of sports, especially golf, he was an avid reader and enjoyed his quiet time at Barnes & Noble. He most especially loved his dog Nicklaus, and enjoyed many special moments in his company. He will be greatly missed by his wife Nancy, best of friends.
Survivors include his wife Nancy Weitfle of Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by parents, a son Brian, and a daughter, Tami.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2010, at Buck-Miller-Hann Funeral Home, 825 E. 17th Street in Idaho Falls, with Gordon Boyle, of Calvary Chapel officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donation be given to the Brent Weitfle Junior Golf Fund and may be sent to any Wells Fargo Bank in Idaho Falls.
